About Raftery Resource Network
Raftery Resource Network (R2N) is a diverse team of independent professionals from consumer goods production and distribution industries, who solve business problems for suppliers, manufacturers and systems and service providers. Dan Raftery assembles the right team to meet the objectives of the specific assignment.
Dan Raftery has been a management and research consultant since 1985 when he joined the leading-edge firm of Willard Bishop Consulting, Ltd. There he contributed to industry initiatives such as Efficient Consumer Response, Category Management, Direct Product Profitability and Customer Frequency Marketing (Frequent Shopper Programs).
He started Prime Consulting Group in 1996 and turned it over to his partner in 2003 when he launched Raftery Resource Network. At Prime, Dan contributed to several key industry initiatives including Scan Based Trading, Invoice Accuracy, Unsaleables Management and Direct Store Delivery.
Prior to his consulting career, Dan worked for eighteen years in supermarket retail operations. He grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the UW.

Magazine Retailer, Frozen Food Age, Confectioner and Refrigerated & Frozen Food Retailer magazines. He currently writes for Frozen and Dairy Buyer.
